Windham Hill Inn is perched on 160 acres of Green Mountain hillside at the “end of a country road" in the heart of Southern Vermont. Towering maples, rock-wall bordered fields, abundant wildlife and spectacular views down the West River Valley help create the peaceful, contemplative atmosphere guests find here. Our grounds include a four-mile network of hiking trails, a heated swimming pool, a native Vermont clay tennis court, gardens, a frog pond, and many places to lounge and relax.
Whether it’s your speed to stroll our grounds, hike them, or take a tour on snowshoes, you’ll find much to do during any season at the Windham Hill Inn! Flowers burst into color in the spring and our gardens bloom. Summer brings the whimsical chorus of frogs in the frog pond and perfect temperatures for dips in the pool. Fall is vibrant with painted trees and crisp air – great for hiking. Winter offers a layer of white snowfall – custom made for some frosty fun. We rough groom our 10km trail system for cross country skiing. We have snowshoes available for complimentary guest use.
